Apple has finally reached the wisest decision, since Java started to cause security troubles. An update released this week removes the Java browser plug-in in all Mac-compatible browsers. Are you happy about Java being kicked out?

Oracle, Java's creator, struggled to solve out the security flaws, but Apple doesn't wait for Oracle anymore. Is Tim Cook bored of Oracle's attitude or simply, Apple has found a better way to promote a positive feedback to the customers, complaining about Java errors?

Anyhow, Apple's decision came one day after Oracle issued its own Java patch. That's a much better turnaround time than earlier this year, when Oracle issued a patch in February 2012, that Apple offered to customers in April.

Let's imagine that you are a very satisfied Java user and you don't wish to give it up. In this case, you will have to reinstall Oracle's latest version of Java, because Apple will erase everything.

Oracle-Apple relationship was mostly profitable, until Oracle made an essential mistake. In August, Java was pointed to include an unsafe plug-in that should only be used when absolutely necessary, after a zero-day exploit rolled. Oracle issued a patch, but however, also proved to be full of security bugs.
